Our Mission
Asterik is about the word love. Love, after all, is what makes this beautiful and strange world go ‘round, right? We think so. Let us start by saying we love what we do for a living. We love waking up in the morning and going to work. We do. We love design. We love art. We love music. We love life. We love Seattle summers. We love ... well ... we tolerate Seattle winters. We love the opportunity of showing you our work. We love the opportunity of you possibly liking our work and possibly hiring us. We love that. We love having the privilege of working together with you. If we haven’t worked with you before, we would love to start working with you. That is actually why we are here, right? I mean, this is a business. And we do love this business. We would love, even more, to do business with you. Love ... isn’t it a beautiful thing?

Bio
Asterik Studio was founded in 2000, prompted by an equal passion for both music and graphic design. Don Clark, Demetre Arges and Ryan Clark joined forces after years of freelance work and grueling corporate-design positions to create a company where quality, creativity and, most important, fun came first. Originally from Sacramento, CA, the trio relocated to the northwest, home to lethal doses of coffee and a thriving music and art community. Discovering that music-industry life actually exists in Seattle, Asterik had found its true home. Asterik is a full-time, fully-functional design firm specializing in CD packaging, poster art, Web design, merchandise design and everything in-between.

Asterik's client list includes numerous record labels, including: Atlantic, Capitol, Interscope, A&M, DreamWorks, RCA, Elektra, EMI, Warner Brothers, Geffen, Island, Vagrant, Drive-Thru, Tooth & Nail, Solid State, Victory, Equal Vision, Trustkill, Ferret and many others. Artists include: The Strokes, Liz Phair, Good Charlotte, Jimmy Eat World, Newsboys, The White Stripes, The All-American Rejects, Puddle of Mudd, P.O.D., New Found Glory, MxPx, Jeremy Camp, Blindside, Poison The Well, DC Talk and hundreds of others.

Asterik Studio has appeared in numerous publications, such as Communication Arts, Print, HOW, Computer Arts and others. Their work has appeared in more than six books, and the studio has been nominated for four Dove awards.

Asterik Studio continues to keep it simple: They just do what they love and love what they do.
